Pull ups: 20 pull-ups trainer App Reviews

Misleading

I have a hard time doing 1 pull up, so I thought 0-20 pull-ups would be perfect. I bought the app and started it. They should have called it 2 - 20 pull-ups. It starts off on day 1 with you having to do 6 pull-ups with a 90 second rest after every 2. I cant wait till I can do 2 pull-ups. Then I can maybe use the app.

Seems like a good app

Ive gone through the first week and the progression is challenging but good.

Great App

Ive tried other apps similar to this one and your apps are my favourite ones. The only thing missing is a popup notification reminding you when your next round of pull-ups, sit-ups or even run days is...basically if you could add notifications to all of your apps then they would be 5 star apps for sure!!

Great suite of apps

Cheap and functional--they all show each others histories so you can see what is up for today.

Im kinda hooked

I cant tell you how many work out apps Ive downloaded and promptly forgotten. This one got me hooked. I even found myself Yelping for "parks with pull up bars" when I was traveling.

Good app

This is an easy to use to get better at doing pull-ups. Allows you to gradually work up towards your goal on regular increments. Does ask you to log in every time app is opened which is annoying.

Steady Progress Over Time

I went from doing 1 pull up to doing 10 :)

Started with 1, up to 8

Stick with this program and it makes you strong. Im a flabby dude at 237 pounds and I just did 8 pull ups following the directions this app gives.

Annoying but good

It would get four stars if it didnt badger me to give it five. This one employs the most effective rep progressions and Ive tried a few.

Excellent!

I dont see how a pull-ups app can be better than this, honestly!

Great app...

For build up! Fantastic results!!

Ok if you can already do a few pullups

I love the fitness22 running programs and the push up 0-100 one. I was expecting this to be like the pushups one with 3 levels (such as counter, knee, reg push ups) but instead this one jumps right into doing pullups. I will find another one that helps build strength. Maybe men just can jump in and do pullups, but I am a female. I have made a lot of progress on the pushups app. I would recommend that app, but not this one. Update 10/29/16: I have gone back to this app as I have progressed to an assisted type pull up. It works well for me now (i use 35 lbs assistance). The picture it shows also shows a chin up in the instructions, not a pullup. I now recommend you start this with an assisted type pull up and go from there

I love this App ! It Works !! Power up !!!

Useful for motivation & routine.

Consistency is important in making big gains in anything. This app isn useful in keeping a routine and providing the details.

Simple and effective

Love it!

Let the gains begin!

Easy and efficient app. Now get rid of the slow splash screen, and the constant nagging to buy other apps...

Review

This app works great! Infact, the whole lime of products work and the results do show! Defined recommended!

So far so good

It has a solid plan to get you doing pull ups. I just started it, but am already liking it. Remember, muscle building is a journey, not a destination. Stick with this plan and youll get there.

Awesome app, very practical.

I love it

Works very well

I dont mind doing push-ups when prompted by the app, because it tells me "great job" when Im done.
